My HP died in 2004. So I need a computer that was affordable. Above all, he had Windows XP, and it is difficult for a new computer is now a day. About half of my software is made for Windows 95/98, so why should I buy a new computer with Vista when I have no idea if any of it is compatible or not, I want to waste a few hundred dollars. I like the fact that the computer is small and has a DVD / CD burner for your CD-ROM very universal. * Do not forget to mention it only uses about 65 watts of power. The only thing I let down on this machine, the lack of enough USB ports, I need a little 'more money for a Belkin USB hub that is spent here @ Amazon.
Very pleased with this computer.
UPDATE: I had the computer for about 3 months. Very satisfied, I bought an external 3.5 "floppy drive via USB and I can now use the old programs on floppy disk. Tengo temp home. Between 70-75 degrees, if the computer's operating system The system fan RARE kicked (when you start, it's strong). Other than that, the computer is sooo quiet. The computer is an ideal machine for e-mail, Internet browsing processing, speech, and old classic games (eg Ms. Pacman, Galaga, DigDug) and it works fine with emulators for the Commodore 64, Atari 2600 and Macintosh.
